Insolvent Sailors On The Seashore

A guy makes his living on the sea as a
fisherman or cargo crew member 

or tour boat operator...what ever.

His job falls apart due to the economy.

So he collects unemployment for a while
until the checks stop coming.
 

He manages to catch a few fish to eat out on the shore
of the polluted harbor. He can't pay his child support.

And really, he is screwed.

He figures that he can "camp out" or live in his old car and save
whatever money he can scrape up to eat.

But the scrapings are thin and he goes hungry and gets sick and
dies in  an alley in the back seat of his broken down car like a bum..
